Grooveman Spot has been working based on his hometown Sendai Japan. He has done producing, remixing, releasing mixtapes there and finally moved up to Tokyo in 2002. At the same time he started to known by people with providing tracks to ENBULL, the group from same hometown Sendai, as well as his own group GAGLE. He got a full attention by one remix work from his mixtape dropped last year under the name DJ Kou-G. The remix work, Common Sence/Resurrection was also highly acclaimed by Remix magazine. Since then he started to work solo more seriously as Grooveman Spot. He provided Voyage The Sky/Grooveman Spot remix to a compilation album produced by Nik Weston. Few tracks from the album including his was also vinyl pressed. He absorbs every kinds of music and turn them into his own unique groove and express that through track making and DJ play. He'll drop his own Eps and collaborate various artists from overseas.
