Mista Donut is well know by his mixtape series "Sound Derivery" currently released 10 titles. In that series, he attracted public attention by featuring some of the best DJs in Japan such as DJ Taiji and DJ Ken-One. The groove of his well-balanced scratch technique and music selection can appeal to wide-raged listeners. At the Ugly Duckling Japan tour in Niigata in September 2003, he played in the showcase with DJ Jif Rock and DJ Shun as well as Ray Barbee.
