Subcontact finally organized the first party! DJ Miles from BREAKESTRA visited from LA as the special guest, and from Japan, Pleasure Products (their gGEMS EPh is got popular) backed them up! You can get to see the Subcontact x Pleasure Products dream session, the funky 7h set of DJ Korosuke, DJ play of the Subcontact crew (DJ Mista Donut / Cradle / Sharaku), and TARO SOUL from Da.Me.Records grips the microphone, and there will be the one night Free Style Session. Strange Sound Session
Itfs a totally new style of showcase! Each of Cradle feat. Mista Donuts from Subcontact, Levitatorz (DJ Ryow a.k.a.Smooth Current & Shin-Ski from Martiangang) feat.DJ TSU & Lenn from Pleasure Products makes full use of a turntable, CDJ, MPC, and effector, and does the club play x MPC x scratch! MPC and the freestyle scratch match well on the club play, and show you the groovy live that youfve never seen before!

The Subcontactfs first party held at Shibuya Family on July 30th. The rehearsal started at after 21:00, and both Pleasure Pro, Subcontact Crew were checking the showcase routine carefully. It delayed about a half hour, and the even has started from 23:30. DJ Mista Donut played the mix of old and new hip hop, and DJ Korosuke spinned the 7inch set then. The audience was getting increasing at the moment, and DJ Korosuke heaped up the audience by playing the regular funk and soul tracks, then the Cradle feat. Mista Donut showcase had started by using the 4 turntables, MPC, and the effector. They played the original track as a live that is made only for this session, and the aggressive flow of Taro Soul heaped up the audience, then showed the new track tat will release in September, Cradle feat. Aloe Blacc / gMake It Lasth (SCR-007), and the floor was going crazy.
After that, there was no time to let you get board by showing scratch to each other on the base of club play, and replay Moonstarr / gDusth by MPC, then the special guest, DJ Music Man Miles (Breakestra) from LA appeared. There were already so many audience at the venue, and Miles was playing the mix of Funk, Soul, and Hip Hop tracks with grabing the microphone and stirring up the audience, and he was wrapping the audience with the black groove. He played some tracks from the unreleased album of Breakestra, and they were so dope! The floor kept growing the tense, and it turned to the Preasure Products feat. Levitatorz show case. Of course Preasure Products is tremendously popular, and the audience was going crazy when they appeared. They also played the original track only for this night and showed the session with Taro Soul. The balance of the DJ Ryowfs technich, Lenn and Shinn-Skifs MPC skill, and the DJ Tsufs scratch was the best part. They played the original beat with using Common / gBeh, and the tension of audience got the highest, and Sharaku appeared.
Because it was after the show case, so Sharaku played the tasteful hip hop for chilling out a little, and turned to the last artist, FK. There were still many audience at the moment, and hip hop, jazz, and loose breakbeats were playing to the end. Audience was going home contentedly, and some drunken people were sleeping on the floor, so seems like a lot of people were enjoying that night. The venue was packed, and It became a perfect party even itfs the first event! Again, it became the perfect party by the grace of the real party people, the joined artists, the staff of Family, and the party staff. Thank you very much!
